The 2024 Title IX regulations do NOT apply retroactively. The 2020 regulations remain in effect for those claims brought after August 1, 2024, but pertain to conduct that occurred prior to August 1, 2024.  Complaints filed regarding conduct that occurred prior to August 1, 2024, will be addressed pursuant to 2020 policies and procedures.
