Items Available for Bid

On Wednesday, October 9, 2019 the Kane Area School District will receive bids for the following items: 2005 Ford Excursion and Resilite competition level wrestling mats. Additional information regarding the items can be found on the District’s website at kasd.net. Bids will be received until 1:00 P.M., to the attention of Mrs. Jessica Gabriel, Business Manager, 400 West Hemlock Avenue Kane, PA 16735. It is the intent of the Owner to award the bid to the highest responsible bidder at the Board meeting on October 10. Buyers must be prepared to take possession of the items by October 25.

Vehicle Description

2005 Ford Excursion XLS – V8, 5.4 liter engine, automatic transmission, inspected through October 2019. Sold as is. If you wish to inspect the vehicle before bidding, please contact John Rook, Facilities Manager, at (814) 837-9570, ext. 1221. See video below. Minimum bid of $2,500 required.

Wrestling Mats

Resilite brand wrestling mats. Three sections of 14’ x 42’ mats. Can be combined to 42’ x 42’ when put together for competition. One side has practice circles. Sold as is. If you wish to inspect the mats before bidding, please contact James Fryzlewicz, High School Principal, at (814) 837-6030. Bidder must purchase all three sections. Minimum bid of $900 required.
