Kane All-Sports Boosters Awards

As with all spring events typically held at Kane High, the All Sports Booster’s annual awards banquet will not happen in the traditional format.  However, the student athletes will still get the recognition they deserve.  Understanding the hard work the kids put in, the boosters know the awards are important and a special honor to the athlete, their coaches, peers, and family.

Our situation presents a challenge of finding a new way to make the awards presentation special, while following current guidelines.  The athletic directors, high school administration, technology department, and coaches collaborated to create a video presentation of the awards.

The 2020 Kane All Sports Booster Awards presentation will go live at 7pm on Wednesday May 27th on WXZY 101.7.  This can be tuned in at most homes in the Kane Area School District. It also streams live at wxzyradio.com for those who can’t listen in on 101.7.

Comcast Channel 18 will also show the ceremony at 7pm on May 27th and will simultaneously live stream to our KASD YouTube Live Channel.  The link to watch live on YouTube is https://www.youtube.com/c/KaneAreaHighSchool/live

The video/audio file will be posted to our KASD YouTube Channel on Thursday morning after the live broadcasts on Wednesday night. This will allow the opportunity to view the presentation for those who cannot tune in Wednesday night.https://www.youtube.com/c/KaneAreaHighSchool

The awards will be available on a later date.  Details about pick up location, date, and time will be provided as soon as they are available.
